The Emotron EL-FI M20, also known as the Emotron M20, monitors motor shaft power to detect abnormal machine loads. It helps protect pumps and other motor-driven equipment from damage caused by underload or overload.
The M20 calculates shaft power from electrical measurements, avoiding the need for a separate mechanical load sensor. It can detect conditions such as a pump running dry or a crusher jamming, allowing the control system to warn an operator or stop the equipment.
Supply versions cover 100–240, 380–500 and 525–690 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz. Current monitoring extends to 999 A with suitable current transformers; above 100 A, an additional transformer is required.
For selection and application advice, provide:
See the manufacturer's M20 product page for specifications, current transformer information and manuals, including earlier EL-FI M20 instructions. Match the manual to the installed unit before checking wiring or settings.

No. The M20 is a load monitor. Its outputs connect to the machine control system for indication, warnings or stopping; it does not provide variable speed control.
Send photos of the M20 label, current transformer label and motor nameplate, together with the wiring diagram and a description of the application.
