The Emotron TSA provides controlled starting and stopping for three-phase motors in pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors. It helps reduce starting current and mechanical stress in applications that run at a fixed speed.
The TSA range covers rated currents from 16 to 960 A, with three-phase supply versions for 200–525 V and 200–690 V. Units have IP20 protection for installation in a suitable enclosure. Communications and additional I/O are available as options.
To help select the right model for your starting duty, provide:
For an existing installation, record the full soft starter type code and software version. Use the matching TSA instruction manual when checking parameters, terminals or option compatibility.
See the Emotron TSA product information for technical data, catalogues and manuals, or search the Emotron downloads library.
The TSA suits applications such as pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors that need controlled motor starting and stopping. Selection depends on the motor current, load and starting duty.
A TSA soft starter controls motor starting and stopping; it does not provide continuous variable speed control during normal operation. If your process needs speed adjustment to match flow or pressure demand, consider an Emotron FDU variable frequency drive.
Send a photo of the existing soft starter label, the motor nameplate details and a description of the application, starting duty and control connections. This helps identify a suitable replacement.
Enquire about an Emotron TSA or call 0508 000052.
